Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Recruit Engineering. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the Quality Inspection department, ensuring that all shop floor activities are supported with the necessary training and resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise the Quality Inspection department.
  • Investigate and address Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) efficiently.
  • Manage concession and deviation requests.
  • Resolve customer complaints and concerns promptly.
  • Coordinate with the QA department on documentation matters.
  • Schedule and oversee customer witness inspections.
  • Communicate effectively with both customers and suppliers.
  • Conduct internal audits and update operational procedures as necessary.
  • Create and maintain quality forms and documents.
  • Train and mentor inspectors and apprentices.
  • Review CAD drawings and assess new designs.
  • Oversee the calibration system.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.

Key Relationships:

  • Foster strong relationships within the department.
  • Collaborate effectively with other departments across the organisation.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with employees at all levels.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
  • Experience with various measuring instruments.

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the role and the company.

Desirable:
