Air Hygiene Technician

As a key member of the Hydro-X Group team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional air hygiene services to our customers.

The primary focus of this position will be to assist the Lead Engineer in providing ventilation, ductwork cleaning, and other air hygiene services to our clients.

You will be responsible for ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standards, in accordance with relevant industry regulations and guidelines.

Full training and development opportunities will be provided to support your growth and success in this role.

No prior experience in the air hygiene sector is required, but it is advantageous. This position would be ideal for someone looking to work in a hands-on role and is physically demanding.

The successful candidate will be part of a dedicated team of two, working remotely to deliver services to our customers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out kitchen extract and ventilation system cleaning in accordance with TR19 Grease.
  • Working safely with oils, fluids, and lubricants.
  • Ensuring service sheets and documentation are completed and issued on time.
  • Supporting the Lead Engineer with the inspection of fire dampers in accordance with BS9999.
  • Assisting with the installation of access doors into ventilation systems in accordance with DW144.

Requirements:

  • Effective verbal and listening communication skills.
  • Strong teamwork skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Literacy skills, including the ability to read manuals.
  • Personal attributes:
    • Respectful and culturally aware.
    • Flexible.
    • Excellent time-keeping skills.

Salary: £23,800 - £25,000 + Overtime.
