This part-time permanent role involves working 18.5 hours per week.

The salary for this position will be pro rata based on part-time hours.

The shift pattern consists of day shifts from Monday to Sunday, including 3 six-hour and 10-minute shifts.

As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in the rehabilitation of older adults by assisting the team in delivering high-quality care and organizing engaging, meaningful activities.

You will contribute to planning, implementing, and evaluating patients' social and leisure activities, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.

Our multidisciplinary team works together to organize therapeutic leisure activities, both individually and in groups, to promote overall well-being.

You will undergo induction training, including the HCSW workbook, mandatory LearnPro training, and Moving and Handling training.

Occasionally, you may be required to assist with aspects of personal care, such as accompanying patients to the toilet and helping them with meals.

Excellent communication skills, literacy, numeracy, and the ability to work effectively in a busy environment are essential.

You must be able to work collaboratively as part of a diverse team.
