Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly skilled Decommissioning Engineer to join our team at Defence. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for advising business teams on the requirements of Nuclear Site Licences, Authorisations, and Environmental Permits to ensure compliance.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Provide expertise on frameworks to demonstrate adherence to nuclear and radiation safety regulations, principles, and environmental protection standards.
  • Assist with the delivery, maintenance, and storage of essential documentation for Licences, Authorisations, and Environmental Permits.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in nuclear site licence management and environmental permit compliance.
  • Strong understanding of nuclear and radiation safety regulations, principles, and environmental protection standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
