Job Description

The MEP Manager job role involves overseeing Mechanical Electrical Plumbing aspects of projects through design and construction phases. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Reviewing issued design information for completeness and clarity, raising RFIs where required.
  2. Reviewing tender packages with the QS team to ensure scope gaps are addressed and tenderers have correctly interpreted drawings and specifications.
  3. Arranging and chairing regular sub-contractor progress meetings and design review meetings.
  4. Working closely with project and site management teams to develop short-term look-ahead programmes and mitigate potential delays.
  5. Assisting the QS team with assessing progress on site and developing accurate monthly valuations of MEP elements.

To be successful as MEP Manager, we require an experienced, client-facing MEP Project Manager with pre-construction phase experience and a strong background in the heritage/restoration sector.
