About the Role

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Specialist to join our support team in Central Bristol. This role is perfect for individuals who want to gain experience in various education settings, working with children of all ages, skills, and abilities. You will have flexibility in your schedule, with access to an online diary for managing your workload.

The Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and encourage students, as well as schools, across different year groups and settings.
  • Create a positive and constructive atmosphere to promote student behavior and well-being.
  • De-escalate situations within classrooms, ensuring adherence to safeguarding procedures.
  • Work 1:1 or in small groups with SEND children, providing tailored support.
  • Report any safeguarding concerns using school referral procedures and policies.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary, estimated to be around £25,000-£35,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you will benefit from:
