Domestic Custodian

We are recruiting for an experienced Caretaker to work at the Northern Regional College in Newtownabbey. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the college's buildings, grounds, and equipment.

To succeed in this role, you will need a strong background in maintenance, cleaning, and housekeeping. Your excellent communication and organizational skills will enable you to work effectively with colleagues and manage your time efficiently.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Opening and closing the premises securely
• Performing general cleaning duties and maintaining the college's appearance
• Ensuring health and safety compliance and reporting any issues promptly
• Supporting security operations and monitoring fire equipment regularly

• Minimum 6 months' experience in a similar position
• Knowledge of maintenance, cleaning, and housekeeping duties
• GCSE Maths and English, Grade C or above (or equivalent)
