Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Finance Business Partner to join our team and support our growing operations across multiple entities. You will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and play a pivotal role in driving financial performance and decision-making across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Financial Planning and Analysis
    • Develop and oversee financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
    • Provide actionable insights to business leaders to drive performance and profitability.
    • Analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  2. Stakeholder Collaboration
    • Act as a trusted advisor to department heads, ensuring alignment of financial goals with business objectives.
    • Partner with operational teams across multiple entities to support decision-making and improve financial outcomes.
  3. Strategic Initiatives
    • Support M&A activities, including due diligence, integration, and financial modelling.
    • Drive process improvements and implement best practices in financial operations.
    • Contribute to the development and execution of the company's strategic growth plans.
Qualifications and Skills

Essential Qualifications: A recognized finance qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA). Proven experience in a Finance Business Partner or similar role within a software, technology or engineering environment. Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, and forecasting.

Additional Requirements: Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills. Familiarity with software/technology business models, including SaaS metrics. Proficiency in financial systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or similar).
