Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, your primary responsibility will be to perform effective maintenance, repair, and preventative work to ensure the delivery of exceptional brand standards and guest facilities.



Key Responsibilities

  1. Ensure all supplies and services of the hotel are in good working order.
  2. Complete day-to-day maintenance requests as detailed by the Property Coordinator or Facilities Manager.
  3. Regularly test and maintain machinery and equipment.
  4. Carry out structured PPM (Pre-Preventative Maintenance) to a high standard of finish.
  5. React to any maintenance issues within the properties.
  6. Maintain electrical equipment and conduct RCD tests quarterly.
  7. Provide on-call support as required.


Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:



  • Experience in a similar maintenance role.
  • A solid understanding of building regulations.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of power tools and hand tools.
  • An appreciation of building services, including plumbing, carpentry, or electrics.
  • A high level of finish for tiling and grouting.
  • Excellent health and safety awareness.
  • Ability to multi-task and deliver attention to detail.
  • A genuine desire to provide an exceptional welcome to our guests.
