TLP HGV Technician Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join our team at TLP. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet.

Job Summary

This is a full-time, permanent role that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail. You will work closely with our team to maintain and repair heavy goods vehicles, adhering to industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair heavy goods vehicles to ensure they meet safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform routine inspections and diagnostic tests to identify potential issues.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to resolve complex technical problems.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in vehicle maintenance and repair.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard tools and equipment.

  • Overtime paid at £30.97 per hour (Monday-Saturday) and £41.30 per hour (Sundays and bank holidays).
