PDA Search & Selection Limited is a recruitment agency that specialises in placing skilled tradespeople in various roles across the industry. We are currently seeking an experienced Electrician (Mobile) to join our client's team in Tunbridge Wells.

We are offering a competitive salary of £39,876.94 per annum for this position, which includes a base salary of £38,376.94 and an additional one-off payment of £1,500 after completing catering training. Overtime rates vary from £24.85 per hour during weekdays to £33.14 per hour on weekends, although actual overtime hours are not guaranteed.

The ideal candidate will have City and Guilds 236 Part 1 + 2 or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, AM2 or approved electrician status, and proficiency in 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671: 2018). They must also have a full and valid driving licence and be able to use their own vehicle for work purposes.

In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance at various sites in the area. This will include completing Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules, conducting emergency lighting tests and repairs, identifying non-repairable faults, and ensuring compliance documentation is up-to-date. You will also need to advise site managers of any issues that may affect site operations and complete surveys as required.

The company offers a range of benefits, including a company van with fuel card, pension scheme, BUPA healthcare coverage, and 33 days' annual leave. Training will be provided in catering equipment operation at the company's Haydock training centre, requiring overnight stays for four or five nights over two separate blocks.
