Theatre and Events Technician Role

This permanent, full-time position is responsible for assisting with and running various events throughout the year, such as theatrical performances, dance shows, exam pieces, assemblies, presentations, and lectures.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with event setup, technical operations, and striking.
  • Maintaining performance facilities, including a black box drama studio, an impressive dance studio, and a theatre seating 300.
  • Working collaboratively with staff and students to ensure smooth event execution.

A formal qualification in Drama or Technical Theatre is desirable but not essential if you have relevant industry experience.

This role involves significant contact with children, and sometimes you will be responsible for them. All staff must actively promote and safeguard the welfare of all pupils.

Please note that this position requires flexibility in working hours, including some evenings and weekends.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
