Job Title: Domestic Gas Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Domestic Gas Engineer to join our team at Correct Contract Services Limited. As a key member of our service and maintenance department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and functionality of gas systems within our clients' properties.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting routine servicing and maintenance of gas appliances and systems, responding to gas breakdowns and emergencies, and carrying out necessary repairs and replacements to ensure the reliability and efficiency of gas installations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine servicing and maintenance of gas appliances and systems in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Respond promptly to gas breakdowns and emergencies, diagnosing faults and implementing effective solutions to restore service.
  • Carry out necessary repairs and replacements to ensure the reliability and efficiency of gas installations.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, including service reports and parts used.
  • Provide excellent customer service, communicating effectively with residents and addressing any concerns or queries in a professional manner.
Requirements:
  • General competence in Commercial and Domestic Gas CCN1, CPA1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1.
  • C&G Energy efficiency.
  • NVQ 2 or equivalent.
  • Punctuality, professionalism, flexibility, and working knowledge of Mobile PDA.
  • Good fault-finding skills.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years experience.
  • Experience of working within the Social Housing or Housing Associations market on gas installation projects and maintenance contracts.
  • Experience of working with residents and clients directly.
  • A clean UK driving license and DBS check will be required.
