Job Description

As a Social Worker or Senior Social Worker, you will hold a manageable caseload of children and families requiring intervention under Section 17 (Child in Need), Section 47 (Child Protection), and Initial Court Applications where necessary.

  • Conduct timely and thorough assessments to identify risks and needs.
  • Coordinating Section 47 investigations to ensure children's safety, working collaboratively with multi-agency partners.
  • Create robust Child in Need plans to support families in achieving stability and positive outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Social Work England Registration (essential).
  • 3+ years' proven experience in Children's Services teams, ideally within Assessment or Child Protection.
  • Strong skills in decision-making, communication, and time management.
