Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to join our team at a global organisation based in Altrincham. As an Assistant Accountant, you will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, including posting journals, balance sheet reconciliations, and monthly management accounts preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Posting journals and maintaining accurate financial records
- Conducting balance sheet reconciliations and investigating discrepancies
- Preparing monthly management accounts and providing financial analysis
- Managing accruals and prepayments, and ensuring accurate financial reporting
- Providing ad hoc support to the finance team as needed
Requirements:
- Knowledge of accruals and prepayments, and experience with financial analysis
- Confident user of Excel and other financial software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Immediate availability or short notice
