Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Activities Director to join our team at Springvale Care Home. As an Activities Director, you will be responsible for planning and implementing activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement monthly rolling and individual programs that promote socialization, engagement, and enjoyment among residents.
  • Collaborate with the Home Manager to ensure that activities align with the care home's goals and objectives.
  • Encourage staff members, relatives, and friends to participate in activities, fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily activities using appropriate documentation.
  • Contribute to the development of a comprehensive activities calendar that meets the needs of residents.

Requirements:

  • Proven ability to develop and organize a range of events and activities.
  • Friendly, creative, and confident demeanor.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Genuine interest in working with the elderly and promoting their well-being.
