We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our team at a vibrant nursery located within a Further Education college. As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting the growth and development of children through play-based activities, tailored to their individual needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of children through play-based activities, adapting approaches to meet their diverse needs.
  • Build positive relationships with parents and caregivers, providing regular updates on children's development and daily activities.
  • Ensure an inclusive environment that respects and celebrates diversity among children, including cultural, linguistic, and individual differences.

Requirements:

  • NVQ level 2 or 3 in Early Years/Childcare development
  • Previous experience working with young children in a nursery setting
  • Familiarity with the EYFS framework
  • Awareness of special educational needs and how to support children with diverse learning requirements
