The Core at Corby Cube is seeking a highly skilled Technical Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our technical staff, ensuring the smooth delivery of events, performances, and technical services.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and supervise the technical team, ensuring all events and performances are staffed appropriately and within budget.
- Liaise with the Creative team, Head of Operations, and Customer Service department to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Work with the Head of Operations to manage external contracts and contractor visits for technical and building maintenance, services, and inspections.
- Regularly work performances and events, including lighting, sound, and audio-visual equipment operation, taking on the role of duty technician.
- Produce lighting and sound designs for in-house productions and community users as required.
- Proven experience in technical management and supervision.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of technical equipment and systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Complimentary tickets to selected shows throughout the year.
