As a Specialist SEN Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism, Speech and Language needs, Physical Disabilities, Learning Difficulties and social/emotional needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils with their educational, emotional and social development
- Work closely with experienced Teachers and Specialists to provide individualized support
- Build strong relationships with pupils and create a positive learning environment
- Support pupils with class activities and equip them with life skills
Person Specification:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive and bright personality
- Previous experience working with children or vulnerable adults
- Relevant degree in Psychology, Sociology or Health and Social Care
