About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team at Public Practice Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for supporting a diverse client portfolio, undertaking a range of assignments, and working closely with senior management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support clients with a variety of accounting tasks, including preparation of accounts, VAT submissions, and tax returns.
  • Assist the bookkeeping and payroll teams with general duties and provide excellent customer service to clients.
  • Work closely with senior management, including supporting Partners with projects and contributing to the development of the team.
  • Champion your own professional development, learning from an experienced team and staying up-to-date with industry developments.
Requirements
  • ACCA or ACA qualified, part qualified, or planning to study in the near future.
  • Two to three years' experience supporting clients within practice.
  • Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office and accounting software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Motivated and able to inspire others, with a collaborative and creative approach to work.
