The Accounts Assistant role at WH Bence is a key position in our finance department, supporting the purchase ledger function of the business. As an Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for typing up and matching purchase orders, delivery notes and invoices. You will also input invoices onto Sage 200, address invoicing and supplier queries, reconcile supplier statements, and assist with payment runs.
We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with previous accounts experience, preferably with a background in purchase ledger. The ideal candidate will be competent in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, with accurate numeracy and typing skills. They will have an organized attitude, be able to prioritize workloads and manage conflicting priorities, and possess excellent communication skills.
The successful candidate will also be proactive, resourceful, and able to problem-solve to deadlines. A positive outlook to work and flexibility are essential in this role.
