Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Defect Prevention Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our quality department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our components, systems, and processes throughout our supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and assess supplier capabilities to ensure the delivery of defect-free components at required volumes.
- Support new product introduction by coordinating and monitoring supplier APQP activities.
- Develop and maintain inspection plans for incoming components and subassemblies.
- Review, approve, and maintain records of supplier PPAPs and related quality documentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
We are looking for a highly qualified individual with a degree in Engineering or a recognised Quality Management qualification. You should have proven experience in supplier quality or quality engineering roles, preferably in automotive or similar industries. Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies is essential.
