About the Role:

A highly respected secondary school in Lambeth is looking for a qualified Maths Teacher to contribute to our successful Mathematics department. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher to inspire students in KS3 and KS4. Applications are welcome from experienced Maths Teachers and Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs).

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4, utilizing effective teaching strategies.
  • Develop and implement differentiated lesson plans aligned with the National Curriculum and school policies.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of the Maths department.
  • Maintain a positive and stimulating learning environment.
  • Participate in school-wide activities and initiatives.

Candidate Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Mathematics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to fostering student achievement and wellbeing.

Salary: A competitive salary within the MPS/UPS pay scale (£30,480 - £56,965), dependent on experience and qualifications.
