We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team to cover all general repairs and small refurbishment projects. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance tasks as per the site maintenance tracker.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairing machinery, equipment, and systems;
  • Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and address them in a timely manner;
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing problems;
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs;
  • FOLLOW safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment;
  • IT literate and proficient in the use of Microsoft 365 software;
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Previous experience in a similar role;
  • Multi Trade knowledge and experience in troubleshooting and repairing;
  • Building maintenance skills, including painting, decorating, joinery, and plumbing;
  • Basic electrical knowledge;
  • Ideal candidate will have IOSH qualification;
  • Good written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think logically;
  • Ability to work to deadlines in a safe and efficient manner;
  • Ability to work well as part of a team or alone;

Working Hours:

37.5 hours/week; Monday-Thursday 8am-16:45pm and Friday 8am-12:30pm.
