CV Library is seeking an experienced Design Project Coordinator to join their team for a major residential development project in Sheffield city centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design management of the project, overseeing the flow of design information, conducting design-gap reviews, developing value engineering proposals, and risk-managing the design development process.

The role
  • Coordinate the Pre-Construction phase of the project, ensuring timely delivery of quality information to the site team.
  • Collaborate with clients, designers, and subcontractors to achieve optimal design solutions, maximising profit opportunities.
  • Ensure seamless delivery of the project by guaranteeing sufficient regional resource is available.
  • Develop a design and sequence that can be safely executed and yields maximum profit returns.
  • Conduct comprehensive design gap analysis to identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage consultant appointments, including scopes of services and matrix of responsibilities, to maintain efficient communication channels.
  • Attend and chair Design Team Meetings to ensure timely flow and release of quality information.
  • Produce technical information for company pre-qualification presentations, highlighting expertise and capabilities.
  • Provide training and coaching to on-site management in design management techniques, enhancing their skills and knowledge.
