Job Title: Senior Mechanical Development Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Development Engineer to lead our Driveline Development team. As a key member of our Powertrain Mechanical Development team, you will be responsible for delivering Transmissions & Driveline development and validation testing in accordance with component & vehicle development plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define component and system targets with the design team
  • Create and maintain test procedures
  • Own component, system and vehicle DVP
  • Plan and execute mechanical development/performance development testing
  • Lead problem-solving investigations

Requirements:

  • Physical hands-on experience with other DCT or transmission types
  • Mechanical engineering degree or equivalent
  • Experience of driving optimization through analysis
  • Managed concern resolution experience
  • Experience with INCA, MDA, AVL CONCERTO & MATLAB

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work on our first mid-engine sports car, identifying issues, discovering resolutions, and testing the vehicle. You will collaborate with the design and simulation team, vehicle testing, and vehicle programme team.
