Podiatry Services at a Band 6 Level

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated podiatrist to join a progressive team focused on providing excellent podiatry services.

As a key member of the team, you will be involved in the assessment and planning of individual patient care, working both independently and as part of a team.

Good diagnostic, communication, and teamwork skills are essential for this role, which involves working with patients with a range of foot and lower limb conditions.

You will have the opportunity to work in various settings and localities, including MSK clinics and diabetic foot protection clinics.

The successful candidate will be encouraged to take part in nail surgery, MSK clinics, audit, and service development initiatives.

You will work alongside experienced podiatrists and be supported in your professional development through regular 1:1 clinical supervision meetings, peer review, and in-house CPD.

We expect you to have excellent established clinical skills and experience of treating patients with high-risk clinical needs, with an emphasis on wound management.

Your responsibilities will include assessing, treating, and developing treatment plans for patients with MSK lower limb and foot pathology.

You will be responsible for managing a complex caseload of patients with moderate, high, and active foot risk.
