About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our ePowertrain team as an Industrial Placement student. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting our HV powertrain development and testing efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Problem Solving: Gain a deep understanding of issues encountered during HV powertrain testing, engage in technical discussions to identify resolutions, and document and optimize the processes.
  • Hands-On Work: Perform hands-on work on the latest Aston Martin vehicles.
  • Challenging Projects: Tackle crucial projects, either independently or as part of a team, allowing you to put your technical skills to the test.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with various teams, enhancing communication and teamwork skills.
  • Data Analysis: Use your analytical skills to interpret test data and contribute to improving HV powertrain systems.
What We're Looking For
  • Pursuing an Engineering Degree: Currently enrolled in a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree program, ideally with an electrical bias, and set to graduate in 2025.
  • Passion for Automotive Engineering: Evidence of achievements and interest in both academic and non-academic engineering-related activities.
  • Commitment to an Engineering Career: A clear aspiration to pursue a long-term career in the field.
  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills: A logical, solution-focused mindset that drives you to persevere in challenging situations.
  • Data Analysis Experience: Ability to analyze and use data to inform decision-making.
