Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and verify incoming and outgoing stock, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail in the stockroom.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and colleagues to ensure smooth operations.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and cycle counting to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including data entry and spreadsheet maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Educated to NVQ / GCSE standard.
  • Experience in a similar position is desirable but not essential.
  • Warehousing & Stores Level 2 or 3 Qualified is desirable but not essential.
  • Mechanical understanding and an understanding of HGV parts is essential.
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Excel) Spreadsheets (basic).
  • Experience with Sage 200, desirable but not essential.
  • An effective communicator with good telephone manner.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good Negotiation skills.
  • Team player with a flexible Can-Do attitude.
  • Must have a valid UK Driving Licence.

Working Environment:

This role is based in our workshop department and requires a high level of physical activity, including standing, walking, and lifting.
