About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Counsellor in our innovative residential service, providing support for individuals recovering from drug or alcohol misuse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-to-one counselling and group work to support individuals in their recovery journey.
  • Conduct strength-based assessments and develop care plans to promote visible recovery.
  • Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver effective support services.
  • Supervise academic placements and ensure trainees acquire necessary skills and competencies.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Counsellor with accreditation.
  • Experience in substance misuse field or similar.
  • Strong office IT skills and ability to manage caseload effectively.

  • Starting salary of £26,750, with potential yearly increments up to £30,750.
