The Role
- Full-time / Permanent Position
- Monday to Friday, 9am till 6pm
- Competitive Salary: Negotiable DOE
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Buying Assistant to join our team at our Head Offices in Harwich, Essex.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support and assistance to the Buying Director in managing the procurement process
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure a stable and competitive supply chain
- Work closely with internal teams to deliver product solutions and drive business growth
- Negotiate and secure the supply of products at competitive prices
- Utilize problem-solving skills to overcome challenges and ensure seamless operations
Requirements
- Desirable: Food buying experience and knowledge of the industry
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and ability to manage complex products
- Excellent communication and administration skills
- Capable decision-making and problem-solving skills
