Fund Administrative Assistant Private Debt

Carnegie Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Fund Administrative Assistant Private Debt to join our team. As a key member of our Fund Finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient administration of our various strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the transaction services mailbox, ensuring timely and accurate responses to inquiries with internal and external parties.
  • Provide a regular summarized overview of transaction flow to the wider team, highlighting key information related to investment transactions, liquidity, and any other business.
  • Work closely with Investment, Portfolio Management, Finance Teams, and external administrators to ensure timely and efficient execution of investments.
  • Provide regulatory assistance, such as preparing fund reports and filings, including FATCA/CRS.
  • Manage bank relationships, including onboarding of new bank accounts, credit facilities, and FX lines.
  • Assist fund accountants with fund liquidity, such as bank reconciliations, investor drawdown/distribution processes, and hedging requirements.

Requirements:

  • University educated and 1-2 years of experience in a similar finance administrative role.
  • Experience in the fund management sector is desirable.
  • Familiarity with the basics of payment processing and treasury experience is preferred.
  • Numerate and able to demonstrate strong financial literacy.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • A self-starter able to take initiative and ownership.
  • Strong team player, able to build relationships with both the wider business and external stakeholders.
  • Desire for continued development in a fund finance environment.
  • Fluent written and spoken English, a second European language is an advantage.
