Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As a Bookkeeping Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and providing financial analysis to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Purchase Ledger/Sales Ledger: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions, including purchases and sales.
- Monthly Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Daily Retail Reconciliations: Reconcile daily retail transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Processing of Sales Orders: Process sales orders, including invoicing and payment processing.
- Cash Allocations: Allocate cash receipts to the correct customer accounts.
- Stock Control: Maintain accurate records of stock levels and process stock movements.
Requirements:
- Experience in bookkeeping and financial accounting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
