About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at GLG Vets in Hook, Hampshire. As part of our dynamic veterinary practice, you will provide exceptional care to animals while working in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clinical Excellence: Perform routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments on a variety of animals with precision and compassion.
  • Surgical Skills: Conduct surgical procedures as needed, including spaying, neutering, and other minor surgeries, adhering to high standards of care.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure comprehensive care for patients and foster a culture of teamwork.
  • Patient Education: Provide guidance and advice to pet owners on general care, feeding, and wellness, promoting positive outcomes for pets and their families.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of patient histories, treatments, and progress, ensuring seamless communication among team members.
Requirements:
  • A veterinary degree from a recognized institution.
  • A valid veterinary license to practice in the UK.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • The ability to work effectively in a team and independently, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
  • A compassionate and caring approach to animals, demonstrating empathy and kindness in all interactions.
