We are seeking a Senior Defence Systems Manager to lead our Torpedo Launcher Systems team. This role involves managing and growing the business, ensuring a clear strategic plan is produced and executed, understanding and assessing our product fit with the current and future markets, and ensuring on-time project, product, and capability delivery, in line with agreed budgets for both direct and indirect staff.
The ideal candidate will have experience leading a business area, delivering complex projects, product roadmap development, risk opportunity and earned value management, and business development. You must also be eligible for SC Clearance.
Responsibilities:- Manage and grow the business by developing and executing a clear strategic plan.
- Assess our product fit with the current and future markets.
- Ensure on-time project, product, and capability delivery, in line with agreed budgets for both direct and indirect staff.
- Experience leading a business area, delivering complex projects, product roadmap development, risk opportunity and earned value management, and business development.
- Eligibility for SC Clearance.
- A salary of £70K+ per annum, plus senior management bonus up to 15%.
- A range of benefits, including all staff bonus, hybrid/flexible working arrangements, half-day Fridays, private medical health insurance, employee assistance program, wellbeing centre, Canada Life GP, and financial advice.
