Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Learning Assistant to join our team at a dynamic school in Blandford. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting and leading within our educational environment.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences, supporting students to achieve their academic goals.
  2. Manage the classroom effectively, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment.
  3. Develop and implement lesson plans, aligning with the curriculum and meeting the needs of students.
  4. Mentor and support colleagues, promoting collaborative working and professional development.
  5. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and professionals to support individual student needs and contribute to their overall development.

Requirements

  1. Significant experience as a Teaching Assistant, with a proven track record of supporting and leading in educational settings.
  2. HLTA qualification or equivalent, alongside relevant GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  4. A genuine passion for education and commitment to supporting diverse student needs.
