The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled C#.NET developer to join our London Tradeflow Development team. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for building out the next generation of highly scalable, reusable, and performant order entry services and applications for front office users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, unit-tested, and reliable code.
  • Work closely with end-users and other team members to gather use cases and translate them into functional components and applications.
  • Strike the correct balance between performance, scalability, maintainability, and go-to-market time when designing a solution.
  • Evaluate and use the latest.Net and open-source technologies to deliver, maintain, and enhance new and existing applications.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of software development experience using C# and.NET, preferably within a financial institution.
  • Good knowledge of C#.Net and object-oriented programming concepts.
  • Ability to think critically and develop innovative solutions.
  • Experience with Visual Studio and NuGet packages.
  • Good experience of Test-driven development, Unit testing, Mocks.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git).
  • Experience of writing reusable libraries and Windows services.
  • SQL development experience (e.g. MS SQL, MySql, Oracle).
  • Experience of relational database schemas.
Desirable Skills
  • Knowledge of trading workflows, order types, and market data feeds.
  • Some knowledge of FIX protocol and messaging.
  • Basic knowledge of TCP/IP and networks.
