Responsibilities
  • Client Portfolio Management: Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from sole traders to limited companies, providing a comprehensive suite of accounting services.
  • Financial Analysis: Utilize a mix of traditional and modern accounting methods, leveraging software tools like Iris, Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks.
  • Varied Workload: Handle a varied workload spanning accounts, tax, and bookkeeping to ensure comprehensive support for client needs.
  • Succession Planning: Support a partner transitioning into a more compliance-focused role by gradually taking over client management and portfolio responsibilities.
  • Collaborative Team: Work alongside a team of approximately 5 members, fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment.
RequirementsQualifications and Experience:
  • AAT qualified, ACCA/ACA part-qualified, or fully qualified.
  • Proven experience in a general practice role, demonstrating proficiency in accounts, tax, and bookkeeping.
  • Familiarity with accounting software, including Iris, Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Capacity to work independently and contribute effectively to a team.
