The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Systems Engineer to join our team. As a Network Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the stability and security of our network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain network devices to ensure operational stability
  • Provide remote support to diagnose and resolve faults
  • Visit customer sites when necessary
  • Lead customer meetings alongside Accounts Managers or Team Leaders
  • Deliver a positive customer experience through effective communication
  • Work independently and collaboratively to achieve team goals
  • Review and update customer support documentation regularly
  • Improve customer infrastructure and update processes
  • Develop process creation for other team members to work from
  • Assist colleagues by sharing knowledge to resolve technical issues and participate in training for professional development

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong experience as a Network Engineer with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and communicate efficiently with clients
  • CCNA or CCNP qualification
  • Strong experience in network engineering, particularly with Fortinet, Cisco, and Meraki products
  • Ability to oversee complex networks in a multi-vendor environment
  • Understanding of network protocols such as QoS, HSRP, IPSEC, BGP, OSPF, etc.
  • Confidence with documentation abilities
