We are seeking an exceptional candidate to lead our Faculty of Hospitality, Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy as Deputy Head. The ideal candidate will be a committed and approachable leader who can ensure our learners and staff meet targets and provide a positive and value-driven experience.

The Faculty provides a specialist learning environment within our commercial restaurant, salons, and Spa, which encourages our learners to thrive and prepares them for progression in the industry. We offer a diverse range of courses, including full-time education for students at Level 1, 2, and 3, apprenticeships, and adult education programmes.

As Deputy Head, you will work closely with the Head of Faculty to manage a highly successful and creative team with a thriving commercial enterprise. You will be responsible for ensuring high standards of quality across all curriculum programmes and commercial areas.

Key requirements of the role include:

  • Experience of managing people
  • Proven experience of managing a curriculum specialism
  • Demonstrable success in previous roles
  • Detailed knowledge of quality processes in an education setting
  • Experience of observing lessons and staff performance management
