Senior Internal Auditor

We are seeking an experienced Senior Internal Auditor to join our team at Pepper Advantage Group. As a Senior Internal Auditor, you will be responsible for conducting independent appraisals of the effectiveness of policies, procedures, and standards by which our organisation's financial, physical, and information resources are managed.
You will be working closely with our Head of Internal Audit to deliver high-quality audit reviews on a timely basis, producing reports detailing findings and implications, and making balanced recommendations on systems and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality audit reviews to deliver against approved Internal Audit plans.
- Produce reports for each IA test detailing what has been tested, findings, and implications.
- Make balanced and fully thought-out recommendations on systems and procedures.
- Support the Head of Internal Audit in producing Summary reports for relevant committees and Board.
- Participate in the annual internal audit planning process.
- Support the Head of Internal Audit in reporting to the audit committee and management.
Requirements:
- Experience as an internal auditor within the financial services industry.
- A knowledge of audit procedures, including planning, techniques, test, and sampling methods.
- A knowledge of computerised accounting and auditing record-keeping systems.
- An ability to maintain current knowledge of developments related to business matters of interest to internal audit.
- The ability to understand a complex legal and regulatory framework.
