Clinical Nurse Specialist/Research Nurse

Are you passionate about delivering high-quality care to respiratory patients and keen to enhance your clinical expertise in a community-based setting? In this rewarding role, you'll work within a rapidly evolving community team, providing expert care to patients with COPD, asthma, bronchiectasis, OSA/NIV, and ILD. You'll have the autonomy to conduct home visits, virtual assessments, and in-clinic consultations, making a real difference to patient outcomes.
We're looking for an adaptable, proactive professional with an NHS background (or equivalent), who excels in communication and patient-centred care. Leadership qualities, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to professional development are essential. A valid driver's license is required.

Key Responsibilities:
- To work autonomously to deliver specialist clinical care appropriate to the needs of the patient group and based on principles that are evidence based and which enhance the quality of patient care.
- To assess, develop, and implement specialist care programmes, including home oxygen therapy, pulmonary rehabilitation, psychological interventions, and medication reviews, adhering to evidence based guidelines.
- To interpret and analyse clinical and non-clinical tests to form an accurate assessment and co-ordinate appropriate services to ensure safe transfer of care to the community and develop comprehensive discharge plans.
