We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Scientist to join our team. As a Clinical Scientist, you will be responsible for performing a range of advanced healthcare science activities, including clinical physiological assessment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain first-class working relationships with colleagues, medical staff, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Communicate complex procedures in simple terms to patients, their relatives, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide accurate oral and written reports of investigations performed.
  • Liaise with scientists, colleagues, medical staff, and other healthcare professionals as appropriate.

Requirements:

  • First or second-class honours degree in a relevant science or engineering subject.
  • Appropriate post-graduate degree at master's level, or equivalent level of specialist knowledge.
  • Registered Clinical Scientist, or working towards registration.
  • Higher degree in a relevant subject.

Key Skills and Abilities:

  • Teaching, training, and mentoring skills.
  • IT skills, including database and spreadsheet use.
  • Practical skills relevant to urodynamic measurement.
  • Clinical or technical reporting skills for a limited range of clinical measurements in urodynamics.

Working Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and supportive environment, with opportunities to develop their skills and expertise. The role will involve working in a variety of settings, including community and hospital environments.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is £46,148 to £52,809 per annum, pro rata. The role also offers a range of benefits, including paid annual leave and access to staff wellbeing services.
