About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Midwife to join NHS Borders maternity service. Our team provides midwifery/consultant led care, with approximately 900 deliveries per year.

As a Midwife, you will work between Labour Ward, Ward 16 (antenatal/postnatal) and Community, providing family centred care and supporting/assisting the running of the service with a clear focus towards the principles of Best Start.

NHS Scotland has reduced their full-time working week from 37 hours and this reduction will also be applied pro rata for part-time staff. You may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period.
