Job Summary:
Carlton Recruitment is seeking an experienced Assistant Audit Manager to join our client's Milton Keynes team. As a key member of the audit team, you will be responsible for assisting audit directors, senior managers, and managers with audit assignments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and executing audit assignments, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
- Manage and coordinate audit fieldwork, including staff allocation and resource planning.
- Review and finalize audit files, highlighting key issues and recommendations for improvement.
- Liaise with clients to understand their needs and expectations, providing exceptional customer service.
- Develop and negotiate audit budgets and fees with clients, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with the audit team to identify and address technical and business risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in audit management, with a strong understanding of audit principles and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and team members.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex issues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience in audit software and tools.
