We are seeking two experienced Class 1/LGV C+E Drivers to join our team at The Best Connection. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering goods to our clients in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out morning trunk runs to various locations, starting at 0500
  • Drive to site and offload onto delivery vehicles at the outbase, then return to depot and take a break
  • Carry out a second run to the outbase, driving an 18-tonne vehicle and unloading
  • Return to base and prepare for the next day's deliveries

Requirements:

  • A clean driving licence with no more than 3 points
  • CPC and DIGI card
  • Ability to work Monday to Friday, with an alternate Saturday morning start time

Benefits:

  • Hourly rate of £18 plus holiday pay and overtime at £27 after 8 hours and Saturday plus holiday pay
  • 28 days paid annual leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
  • Overtime available
  • Shift premiums
  • Training provided
  • Weekend work
