Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team at St Nicholas CE Primary School. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to meet the learning needs of our children across Early Years, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2 classes. Your responsibilities will include delivering targeted maths and English interventions, providing one-to-one support, and contributing to reviews of children's progress.
Responsibilities
- Deliver targeted maths and English interventions to raise attainment in core subject areas
- Provide one-to-one support to children with varying needs
- Contribute to reviews of children's progress and development
Qualifications and Experience
- Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and its application in the classroom
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Degree or relevant experience in education or a related field
