Senior Animation Programmer

About the Role:
As a senior animation programmer at Sony Interactive Entertainment, you will be responsible for creating innovative and engaging animations for PlayStation games. You will work closely with the development team to design, develop, and maintain animation systems and tools that meet the high standards of the gaming industry. This is a unique opportunity to showcase your skills and expertise in animation programming and contribute to the creation of AAA games.
Key Responsibilities:
• Writing scalable and reusable code with performance in mind
• Maintaining, extending, and optimising existing game systems and features
• Ensuring overall build performance and stability throughout all stages of development
• Excellent knowledge of C++ and overall software engineering and debugging skills
• Keeping updated with recent advancements in technology
• 3D maths and problem-solving skills
• Unreal Engine 5 knowledge, including knowledge of Blueprints
• A passion for games and game creation
