About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious leader to join our team as the Director of Adult Services. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of adult social care in North Yorkshire.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of strategies to improve the lives of adults in North Yorkshire. This will involve working closely with stakeholders, including residents, carers, and partner organisations, to ensure that the needs of all individuals are met.

Main Responsibilities

  • To lead the development and implementation of strategies to improve the lives of adults in North Yorkshire.
  • To work closely with stakeholders, including residents, carers, and partner organisations, to ensure that the needs of all individuals are met.
  • To manage and develop a team of staff to deliver high-quality services to adults in North Yorkshire.
  • To oversee the budget and resources allocated to adult social care services.
  • To ensure compliance with all statutory requirements and regulations.
  • To develop and maintain effective partnerships with other agencies and organisations.

Requirements

  • A professional qualification in social care or health.
  • Significant experience in leadership and management roles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyse complex data and information.
  • Experience of managing budgets and resources.
  • Ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Salary

The salary for this role is £60,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
