About the Role

Penguin Recruitment is proud to represent a leading acoustics consultancy with over 20 years of experience in delivering high-quality services across construction, infrastructure, and environmental acoustics projects.

As a Graduate Acoustic Consultant, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team that provides excellent customer service, clear technical advice, and a challenging, rewarding environment.

The team requires practically minded individuals with a degree in acoustics or a closely related engineering subject, such as Mathematics, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or Music Technology, or an Institute of Acoustics Diploma.

Candidates should have strong A Levels in maths and science disciplines and a personable, friendly manner, with strong communication skills to represent the company to prospective clients and industry contacts.

A driver's license and own car are required, but applications are accepted from candidates who are due to obtain their license shortly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct noise measurement surveys and sound insulation testing
  • Work on 3D noise modeling and report preparation
  • Gain experience in site and desk duties
  • Work across a wide range of developments, including rural, urban, and industrial environments
  • Manage projects from start to finish, working with respected architects, developers, engineers, and construction teams
